Position Mandate
The Studio Assistant provides essential support for studio and business operations. The primary focus of this role is to handle day-to-day logistical and operational tasks, ensuring the studio's workflow is seamless and professional. This role is fundamental to the business, allowing The Founders to dedicate their time to high-value creative work and income-earning activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Studio Operations & Logistics: Maintain the operational readiness and professional appearance of the corporate office and production studio. Assist with the procurement of all business supplies, equipment, and materials by tracking inventory and placing approved orders. Help track and organize corporate assets, including props and production equipment. Act as a reliable point of contact for business-related deliveries and service providers. Maintain the studio's kitchen and refreshment station, ensuring coffee and craft services (beverages, snacks) are available to support workflow.
- Project & Content Support: Prepare and organize research materials required for business projects, such as the commercial book venture. Establish and maintain the master business calendar, serving as the central point of knowledge for all scheduled activities, project timelines, and deadlines. Assist in the logistical setup for photoshoots, video recording sessions, and other content creation activities.
- Marketing & Content Support: As directed, document behind-the-scenes (BTS) content for use as marketing assets. Assist with scheduling approved content for the business's social media platforms. Assist with logistical tasks related to marketing events, like the future book launch.
- Corporate Travel & Logistics: Assist with booking all approved, business-related travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation. Prepare detailed travel itineraries for business trips, promotional tours, and on-location productions. Assist with on-site business needs during travel as directed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience in an office support, retail, or hospitality role where organization and professionalism were key.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
- A professional and discreet manner with a strong sense of confidentiality.
- A reliable and detail-oriented person with a positive, can-do attitude. Comfortable working independently on assigned tasks after receiving clear direction.
- Proficient with standard office software (e.g., Google Calendar, Google Docs).
- Must possess a valid passport and be legally able to travel internationally for business purposes.
- Must be eligible to be placed on official company payroll in compliance with the BC Employment Standards Act.
